The CIB CAO finance team is responsible for preparing financials and performing various financial and headcount analytics for reviews and decision making. The position is for Financial Analysis role at Analyst grade for CIB CAO F&BM Reporting Center of Excellence (CoE).
 
Job Function:
 
The position is based in Mumbai and will cover the following job functions:
  • Workforce solutions and maintenance activities for CIB CAO Operations & Technology line of business which includes performing weekly validations of the eXtrasheet strategic resource information and working closely with the Business Managers to get it fixed
  • Working closely with the Business Manager for forecasting of the resource driver and extrapolating data for financial outlook for remainder of the year and multi-year planning
  • Preparing review slides and charts for Management reviews which includes driver based water fall charts, variance analysis, productivity tracking, location strategy, etc. with commentaries
  • Headcount tracking and preparing line of sight review for future periods with reconciliations with eXtrasheet and clarity database
  • Headcount and financial reporting for business specific MIS
  • Liaise with product and function CFOs to understand the drivers of business variance
  • Play a proactive role in enhancing the current BAU processes
  • Support the monthly Investment Initiatives reporting process
  • Adhoc requests and projects
 
 
Qualifications:
  • CA or MBA with at least 2 years of experience in the area of financial reporting or MIS
  • Positive, pro-active, can-do attitude and strong control mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop and leverage strong network of contacts throughout the organization
  • Working knowledge of finance tools like Essbase / Business Objects would be an added advantage.
  • Good MS Office skills – especially MS Excel
  • Ability to work with teams in multiple locations across different time zones
  • Strong orientation to details and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
