Client Onboarding Relationship Manager – CIB – KYC Operations
 
Description
 
Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) is a global team with locations in major locations such as New York, Delaware, London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong and Mumbai. The team functions in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding to the JP Morgan infrastructure.  COB plays a critical role in introducing new clients to our organization as well as ensuring full due diligence is done with respect to new and existing relationships.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • The key responsibilities will be the stakeholder, relationship and pipeline management of new clients being onboarded for  key priority clients and Sales desks.
  • Liaise with the IB business and directly with Clients as required to obtain Client OnBoarding requirements and ensure efficient Client OnBoarding for different asset classes.
  • Onboarding of various different products such as CDS, derivatives, FX , Rates for the regulated asset managers and other priority clients.
  • Preparation of MI and ongoing project progress analysis.
  • Resolve escalated issues from various stakeholders
  • Crisis Management and stakeholder engagement
  • Liaise with various groups like Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Operations to remove roadblocks impeding the on-boarding process on-behalf of the team.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to onboarding team with respect to policies, priorities and procedures.
  • Liaise with team leads within region and across regions to facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Identify and execute process improvements and provide SME support on key process and technology initiatives
  • Setting up the KYC template and establishing correct background definition (including determining customer type)
Key Skills
  • B.S. Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong AML / KYC experience
  • Experience in working or dealing with Credit and Legal teams on different product classes.
  • Strong product knowledge of  different product classes and trade life cycles such as FX, eCOM, CDS, Swaps, derivatives and knowledge of legal documentation needed such as ISDA’s, GMRA’s etc.
  • In depth knowledge of KYC procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with client on-boarding processes, KYC systems and workflow tools
  • Detail oriented work ethic and strong controls mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
 
 
 

 
Qualifications
  • You have worked in a Financial Institution , in the IB Services area (operations, Client service or implementation)
  • You can discuss in detail your working knowledge
  • You have a University degree
 Desirables
  • A knowledge of KYC compliance/anti Money Laundering rules.
  • Knowledge of the current regulatory changes such as Dodd Frank, FATCA, EMIR etc.
  • Experience with investigations, business research and examination
