Job Description:
Commercial Bank (CB) Deposit Pricing & Analytics team is globally responsible for the management of the Commercial Bank’s deposit portfolio and the pricing and analysis of the liquidity and investment products that support the portfolio.
The DP&A function broadly focuses on the management of  client and portfolio deposit pricing,  profitability and returns, presentation of complex liquidity deals and investment management expertise to clients and bankers, identification of emerging client requirements, management of segment initiatives and regular portfolio reviews with key stakeholders to drive financial results.
Commercial Banking provides the complete product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, financial institutions, municipalities, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.
This position reports to the CB Deposit Analytics Manager and will support deposit pricing strategy and analysis efforts.
Responsibilities include:  
  • Together with the Deposit Pricing & Analytics team, prepare internal presentations targeted to CB senior management, business segment leadership or the broader CB audience on a variety of economic and strategic deposit related topics.
  • Provide weekly and monthly management reporting on the deposit portfolio such as balance trending, market rates and pricing, exception reporting, and segment level portfolio overviews.
  • Assist with the management of portfolio pricing and profitability globally including the management and development of analytical tools, Enhance and develop pricing and valuation tools to be used by the Deposit Pricing and Solutioning team, as well as other internal stakeholders.
  • Provide the Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries (MMBSI) Deposit Pricing and Solutioning teams with technical sales support including deal pricing and product modeling analyses, PitchPro internal and client-facing materials, and analysis of client metrics using Excel and other internal reporting tools.
  • Liaise with internal functional groups including Product, Banking, Sales, Client Service, Implementations, Finance, and Operations to troubleshoot client issues.  Assist with training various functions as needed. 
  • Help execute and drive strategic projects designed to enhance deposit portfolio management capabilities and smart decision making across the deposit book.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested.
  • 1-2 years experience in finance or wholesale transactional banking products preferred
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Strong strategic, communication and presentation skills - specifically, strong PowerPoint skills and ability to present complex topics in concise and cogent written presentations
  • Financial analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Work well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
