Custody and Fund Services, is a global industry leader with $18 trillion in assets under custody. J.P. Morgan provides innovative custody, fund accounting and administration and securities services to the world’s largest institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers. J.P. Morgan’s Custody and Fund Services business is comprised of Custody, Accounting, Transfer Agency, Middle Office outsourcing, Foreign Exchange, and other activities related to servicing assets for traditional and alternative funds; it leverages its scale and capabilities in more than 100 markets to help clients optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance revenue through a broad range of investor services as well as securities clearance, collateral management and alternative investment services.
 
Responsibilities
 
  1. Project Governance: Project Management for CFS business in India to ensure strong roll-out in India. Current team size ~50, projected to go 2x
  2. Team Management- Develop and manage the CFS team to deliver on goals
  3. Business Relationship Management: CFS GKN Business contact, conduit between GKN leadership and CFS Management on strategic matters
  4. Cost: Partner with F&BM to forecast and monitor delivery within budgets
  5. Risk and Control: Leadership on end to end oversight and controls
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree is a plus
Essential skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate inclusion of risk and control parameters in daily business activities
  • Proven ability to drive results and achieve high standard, and strong end-to-end ownership of tasks/projects
  • Strong project management skills. Practical experience with project management preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to proactively build relationships, collaborate with partners and functional support groups, and effectively navigate large complex matrix organizational structures
  • Strong working knowledge of MS office (in particular Powerpoint) and Sharepoint
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work in and create a cohesive work environment
  • Ability to prioritise and work across multiple work streams
  • Innovative mind set with a proven track record of identifying opportunities for improvement

Familiarity with Investor Services products and services preferable
