The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).

The Legal, Compliance Technology organization (LCT) provides technology solutions for the global compliance teams across all JP Morgan Chase lines of business. The LCT application portfolio is experiencing significant growth as the firm wide focus on regulatory management and reporting has increased. LCT is responsible for partnering with our clients to evolve business capabilities and improve end user experience with our solutions and services.
Global Information Management (GIM) is a Compliance function responsible for assisting senior management in managing the record retention and records management risks faced by the bank. GIM establishes and supports adherence to key policies and procedures and drives core compliance practices.
The main system supporting this business area is a vendor application that is used globally. The technology group supporting this application interfaces with GIM business partners, the vendors, and internal technology groups to provide ongoing support for all activities in the life of the system, including defining and prioritizing enhancements, managing the lifecycle from testing through to production, providing ongoing system/data stability and integrity, and servicing ad hoc requests from the business.
As a .NET Software Engineer, this individual will participate in application development sessions with business owners, business analysts and vendor teams to analyze business requirements and proposed solutions. They will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations. They will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into all application design specifications and code. They will be required to document detailed application specifications; translate technical requirements into programmed application code and develop/enhance software application modules. They will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to architectural guidelines, identify/troubleshoot application related issues, and review and provide feedback to any required documentation. Additionally, they will be required to work with vendor teams to review vendor supplied design/code components and coordinate release of these components into test and production environments. They may also be required to support triage for the application.
