Job Description:
Asia CIB Business Support Management (BSM) serves as a cross-LOB partner to CIB Front Office in Asia Pacific, working closely with respective business managers, senior management and all related support groups (Finance, Legal & Compliance, ITRSM, BCO and HR).  The principal activities of the group are:
  • Business Change Management (BCM):
    • Provision of technology hardware, applications and market data, controlled management of employee access on/off boarding process
    • A range of operational and control functions
  • Assistant Management (AM):
    • Centralized resource management, mobility, talent management, training and development, and objective performance evaluation
  • Expense Management (EM):
    • Ongoing ownership and updates to CIB Expense Policy (T&E and invoice processing)
    • Processing, review, approval and monitoring of T&E and invoice expenditure
      Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • HK Real Estate Champion for CIB FO
    • Represent the CIB FO business in Real estate initiatives in HK – immanently the Charter House refurbishment and Office relocation to Kowloon Bay
    • Support space planning and BAU changes; planning for intern cycles and cyclical business need.
    • Maintain floor plans in Serraview – drive cost allocation and anticipate future space needs
    • Ensure consistent approach for BCM regionally clarifying support requirements for Hub and non-hub countries
  • Community Champion Program lead, responsible for driving the business working  environment objectives in support of the GIB L28 HPW choice seating program
  • Leverage and partner with the BCM team to execute against various BAU and control initiatives
    • Consistent floor access controls and procedure
    • BCM lead for HK Business resiliency plans
    • Monitor the HK BCM dashboard and control points
  • Monitor and assist in location wide BCM operational execution in partnership with the regional BCM leads. Contribute to the broader BCM book of work
  • Regional lead and liaison with various corporate groups on initiatives that impact the End User Experience - driving initiatives and outcomes to meet CIB FO requirements
  • Support and drive ad hoc location wide and regional projects; perform opportunity assessments to identify priority and innovation for potential initiatives
  • Partner with Assistant and Expense management teams as needed on reviews and initiatives impacting the location

  • Develop relationships and demonstrate influence across a range of functions and nurturing a large network
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably in an Investment Banking environment
