The Mobile Product and Strategy organization focuses on initiatives across all the lines of businesses within J.P. Morgan Chase. This is part of a larger and rapidly growing organization with professionals in San Francisco, New York, Wilmington, and Columbus.  The group consists of senior business strategists, developers, interactive designers, product experts, infrastructure and architecture specialists, marketers, usability professionals and project support and operations staff that work closely with many lines of businesses.  (Consumer and Business Banking, Card Services, Private Banking and Home Lending)  Our award-winning mobile applications are some of the most widely downloaded in the country and our goal is to continue building upon that success by delivering innovative, fun, simple and unique experiences to our customers.


Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Mobile Product Manager to work on the rapidly growing product development efforts in all aspects of Chase mobile banking suite.  In this role, the candidate will work across JPMorgan Chase to help business units on mobile initiatives.  This individual will have to quickly understand business' unique needs and apply his/her mobile expertise to help the business drive to a solution as well as collaborating with business and engineering product owners to develop a unified customer experience across all product landscape.   The individual will work closely with business, technology, and 3rd party vendors and will need to juggle several mobile initiatives in parallel.  If successful, the mobile offering will provide added value to the business unit, JPMorgan Chase as whole, and most importantly, our customers.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop mobile products and services that provide significant value to the customer, are unique, and remove friction from the banking process.
  • Serve as a cross -functional leader to collaborate with design, engineering and marketing teams to drive new product initiatives. 
  • Serve as internal mobile SME to multiple business units.  The mobile SME will already have strong command over subjects such as: mobile landscape and trends, mobile platforms, mobile customer experience, and emerging mobile technologies.
  • Work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel.  He/she must be able to come up to speed quickly in new business areas, balance multiple initiatives, while keeping a high level of performance and customer service.
  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives.
  • Facilitate and lead strategy/concept/requirements sessions with the business to formulate the mobile solution.
  • Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term. 
  • Develop new mobile strategy/offerings with tight integration into online/offline, social, and digital offerings.
  • Create concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management.
  • Work with vendors; performing new vendor analysis, managing relationship, vendor negotiations, managing initial product integration requirements.
  • Maintain, evolve, and communicate best practices and lessons learned.  Apply learning to improve process and delivery of mobile solutions.

·        Must be proactive, results driven and have a proven track record of execution
·        7 - 10 years experience related to online and mobile product development
·        Strong knowledge of current mobile applications, devices and trends
·        Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge in development full lifecycle
·        Knowledge of social media as it specifically relates to mobile is a plus
·        Consulting background experience collaborating with clients on business strategy
·        Strong written and presentation skills
·        Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
·        Analytical with a focus on KPI's and measurement
·        Demonstrated people management and team-building skills
·        Financial services preferred but not required
·        Management experience a plus
·        Undergraduate degree in a related field required - BS or MS in Business Management or comparable field of study
