Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) is part of the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Bank providing loan servicing support to multiple business units across the firm and around the world. The Operation provides loan documentation; closing and funding; payment and fee processing; syndication loan trade processing; credit administration; collateral perfection and management, customer service and reporting; and construction management.

Provides daily direction and support to team members.  Responsibilities typically include daily monitoring, assigning and controlling workflow and volumes. This position does not directly manage staff, but does provide input on employee performance


Core Responsibilities:

  • Performs Doc review production functions as needed (i.e. doc reviews, citing exceptions, handling negotiable collateral, vehicle lien perfection, data capture)
  • Monitors productivity, volumes, and SLA’s
  • Works closely with market representative/ Banker to clear documentation exceptions, performs edit of input and ensures edits are corrected
  • Provide mentoring, training and assistance to new and existing team members
  • Communicate and reinforce policies and procedures 
  • Collaborate on procedural writing and team execution
  • Conduct first-level research on production issues, and assist with escalations and team questions 
  • Represent team/supervisor on internal and/or market calls 
  • Provide ongoing feedback to supervisor on team and offer process improvements and suggestions 
  • Manage team's workflow and escalations in supervisor's absence 
  • Subject matter expertise on production tasks
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; must also present information in a concise and effective manner
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks, including production 30-40% of the time
  • Ability to partner effectively and foster a positive work environment
  • Innovative/Solutions Orientation
  • Minimum performance rating of High Meets or Exceeds in current role
  • At least three years of related loan processing experience required
  • An undergraduate or graduate school degree, including major course work in accounting, finance, business, statistics and economics, or any combination of education and/or experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position. Strong attention to detail, with good reading and comprehension skills.
  • Knowledge of legal documentation
  • Commercial Loan systems knowledge including, but not limited to, ACBS, RLOTS, and/or Loan IQ
