The JPMorgan Chase Legal Department is responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to the Firm and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Firm’s lines of business and corporate staff areas.  This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.
 
Within the Legal Strategic Initiatives area, the Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) Program is co-sponsored with the Chief Control Officer of the Firm and is tasked with implementing process and technology solutions to enable effective mapping of procedures to legal obligations Firm-wide.  The OLO Technology Design & Delivery team provides technology product management leadership across key systems required to support this capability. 
 
Position Description:
The OLO Technology Design & Delivery team is seeking a reporting lead to manage the end-to-end process of gathering and documenting business requirements, collaborating with the Technology team and approving their functional specifications, coordinating user-acceptance testing and supporting end-users of the reporting platform. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Defining and prioritizing the program’s reporting requirements by collaborating with stakeholders across OLO Central, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology and the Lines of Business
  • Facilitating and leading project meetings
  • Creating new reports / updating existing reports to align with OLO Operating model changes
  • Supporting the design of the Business Requirement Definitions
  • Acting as the liaison between the business and technology during the development process
  • Testing and validating the new reports and enhancements in UAT and production
  • Supporting user acceptance testing by drafting or reviewing test scripts and assisting end-users
  • Assisting with communication post-release and providing updates at various governance forums
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all reporting-related issues and defects
  • Managing the remediation of defects and timeline of the implementation of the fixes in production 
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts, and solutions at a senior management level
  • Proven leader and influencer with the ability to think on their feet and be able to apply critical thinking and logical/structured framework to shape program’s approach
  • Excellent strategic and interpersonal skills, comfort in working with people at all levels across all functions, including business and technology
  • Ability to manage complexity, multi task, juggle multiple work streams and deliver solutions to a tight deadline
  • Team player who is easy to work with, shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives
  • Significant experience developing reports or report frameworks using COGNOS, Qlikview or similar tools
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project skills, with emphasis on synthesizing clear and concise messaging from raw and complex data
  • Prior experience working with legal and regulatory initiatives is a plus
