Job Description:

The associate is responsible for gathering, comparing and providing analytical & reporting support for A&WM O&C.  This support is focused on program reporting, RCSA metrics (Issues, Action Plans, etc.), and updating monthly Scorecards.  These Scorecards and related reports are utilized by the Control staff to provide input into the various Control Committees and to bring awareness to program key accomplishments, upcoming deliverables and metrics beneficial to their business.  Additionally the associate’s key responsibilities include:
  • Aggregate data across lines of business/regions for reporting critical information
  • Execute various data integrity checks on source data used in monthly and quarterly reports
  • Proactively communicate reporting modifications and process changes to contributors based on senior management requests and personal observations
  • Ensure key trends, issues and watch items are brought forward from the metrics into management summaries clearly
  • Analyze data and reports to derive performance improvement opportunities, isolate root causes, and collaborate on viable solutions to drive enhanced operational processes
  • Assist in real-time risk detection and communicate escalation items to executive management to improve transparency and enhance risk monitoring
  • Act as liaison between the A&WM O&C team and Controls Room lab to troubleshoot reporting data issues and standardize reporting
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting procedures and controls in accordance with regulations
  • Provide support with Testing & QA related activities as needed

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services, controls, or reporting
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time with tight deadlines
  • Analytical and investigative problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrates proficiency in accessing systems, platforms, applications and data repositories in multiple lines of business
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations to accurately depict progress being achieved towards specific Program metrics
  • Possesses ability to creatively and productively consult/confer with management, business and data owners to solicit information and data
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in responding to escalating issues, rapidly changing priorities and adverse performance
  • Ability to follow complex methods and diverse procedures, while working on multiple priorities at the same time with tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint site administration and day-to-day management
  • Proficiency in use of relational database technology data retrieval using Business Objects, QlikView and Cognos
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Minimum education qualification is a Bachelor’s degree
