Core Responsibilities:
  • Think and act strategically by defining and driving the direction of the KYC Utility Program
  • Maintain a governance and reporting structure to ensure objectives are clearly defined, deliverables are documented with associated metrics to measure output and all team members remain engaged and on track with target deadlines
  • Team mentoring (including development plans)
  • Understanding, monitoring and maintaining team capacity/demand (including regular forecasting)
  • Performing project standard execution reviews
  • Performing project health checks
  • Executing project tollgates according to the standard project delivery framework
  • Monitoring team performance metrics
  • On and off boarding PMs as necessary
  • Ensure projects delivered on time, on budget, on specifications.
  • Keep all projects in program on track -Escalates decisions to executive sponsors as necessary
  • Develop risk management strategies
  • Plan and set project goals and milestones
  • Define resources and the schedule for the implementation of the project
  • Detect and solve project issues effectively
  • Recognize areas for internal improvement and developing plans for implementing them
  • He/she must make sure all the measures comply with company standards and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  •  Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsor; conducts periodic briefings/status updates
  • Serve as single point of contact for project level issues / questions
  • Prepares complex technical reports
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
  • Proven experience keeping projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to present metrics to key stakeholders
  • Experience in working with Outside Service Providers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing - across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command
  • Listening and gathering customer/user inputs, simplifying complex topics for non-technical audiences and preparing quick pointed summaries for executives and stakeholders
  • Strong familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the JPMC community
  • Ability to motivate his team

  • Bachelor's degree in technology related area preferred or
  • PMP or Six Sigma - 10+ years of related technology experience, a significant amount of which has been at the senior staff level, working with multiple technologies and complex, large scale, cross-functional project management, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong technical capability
  • Background in Financial Services
