Our Commercial Bank’s Real Estate Banking Group offers a full range of traditional banking and credit products. Chase Real Estate Banking can tailor solutions to meet the needs of regional and national real estate developers, operators and investors. We are one of the real estate industry's largest lenders, and we offer access to expertise in private debt and equity placement, portfolio evaluation, asset analysis and redeployment and investment strategies.


We seek a seasoned real estate business development/sales client manager specializing in Commercial Real Estate with proven revenue generating capabilities with the largest institutional clients. Candidates should possess outstanding sales and marketing skills. The role is to generate new business opportunities, be involved with underwriting real estate credits of varying complexity, cross-sell bank financial products, and manage our existing relationships. The Client Executive will be responsible for direct calling responsibilities with private sector and institutional clients primarily in the local/regional area. The Client Executive will be expected to become a trusted advisor to clients, identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions.


Responsibilities include:

  • Solicit, develop and oversee servicing of Commercial Real Estate clients
  • Initiate strategic dialogue with clients around financial and real estate credit needs
  • Collaborate with underwriting team on analysis, structuring and documentation of credit requests
  • Facilitate client discussions regarding JPM's CMBS and Real Estate Investment Banking capabilities
  • Cross-sell financial products and services of JPMorgan Chase
  • Assist with client on-boarding including AML and other regulatory requirements
  • A Senior Client Executive candidate should possess a minimum of 10+ years of related work experience in real estate lending; with specific real estate market experience and knowledge working with private sector and institutional clients in the assigned market
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred
  • Experience in underwriting and risk assessment for project financing that includes construction, acquisition and mini-perm financing
  • Financial analysis capabilities that support secured and unsecured lending decisions
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate project finance fundamentals
  • Highly motivated, independent worker within a team-oriented culture

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong sales and marketing skills
  • Familiar with Argus, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in product cross selling of treasury, derivative, syndications and other standard bank products
  • Comfortable with presentations to large groups

The final officer title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer.  It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level.
