Global Trade & International Credit Advisory Analyst/Associate; Credit Markets & Treasury Management
Global Trade & International Credit Advisory delivers a broad array of financing solutions to Commercial Banking clients.  In partnership with U.S.-based client coverage groups, the position supports International Credit & Corporate Finance and Global Trade product specialists responsible for the:
  • origination and development of international structured financings;
  • origination and execution of structured export finance transactions and facilities;
  • origination of Trade Finance transactions; and,
  • cultivation of Trade Finance client relationships. 
In addition, this position interacts with our network of overseas bankers based in 11 countries outside the U.S. on the identification, marketing and execution of these opportunities for our U.S. clients overseas.
  • Support bankers and product partners in generating new international structured credit and trade opportunities with clients and prospects
  • Coordinate with U.S. bankers and credit underwriters to assist overseas-based international bankers with execution and ongoing management of credit and trade facilities and transactions
  • Profile companies through financial and business analysis to identify opportunities relevant to our international structured finance and trade finance capabilities
  • Generate pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Manage a deal repository and stay current on international credit and trade developments
  • Educate Bankers, International Product Specialists and International Coverage Executives on market developments in order to identify new opportunities
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree and 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong corporate finance/credit background. Tax and accounting knowledge a major plus
  • Candidate that has attended a Commercial Banking Analyst Training Program preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with credit underwriting and legal team on analysis, structuring and documentation of international credit requests. Strong credit, analytical and modeling skills
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize information and prepare succinct presentations
  • The ability to be a highly motivated, productive team player.  Partnership skills are essential as work will overlap with Corporate Bankers, International Product Specialists, Trade and Credit Professionals
  • Strong in Pitch-Pro, Power Point and Excel
  • Excellent reviews and referrals from your current manager and peers 
  • International background or experience  a plus
  • Permanent and/or unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
