The Application Engineering Architect will work closely as part of the larger software engineering transformation with the Business Engineering Architecture, the Information Architecture.
  • Participate in firm-wide forums on behalf of CCB to further advance  accelerated software engineering strategies.
  • Create, refine  and be the custodian  of  key software engineering patterns. 
  • Guide agile teams in applying  these patterns to key software products and will guide software engineering teams  in implementing customer-driven autonomous application architectures. 
  • Lead a group of seasoned architects who have experience in advanced design and cloud-based architecture and engineering. 

Over 10 years of experience in applying Application Architecture and

  1. Enterprise Architecture to large scale responsive, resilient, elastic and
  2. event driven systems, Cloud-based architecture and software engineering,
  3. Micro-Services Design and software engineering, Object Oriented
  4. Software Design,  Java, Ruby, C++, .Net experience a plus.  
  • Advance Middleware design/REST. Good knowledge of Open Software Frameworks – e.g. Spring Boot, Hadoop  is also a plus.
  • Proven experience in incident/problem management.
  • Capable to execute and deliver on a multitude of concurrent initiatives in a dynamic environment
  • Expert communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead/manage large conference calls.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Technical thought-leader, with the ability to coach, guide and mentor
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment. Comfortable in a fast dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Banking and/or financial services industry experience preferred.
