The Sales Desktop team within CIB Fixed Income Technology is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work on building out next-generation technology platform for the global team of Fixed Income sales traders. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, excellent problem solving skills, is interested in working in a collaborative team environment, has a positive attitude and thrives in a dynamic business and technology setting.
 
Required Skills:
  • Successful track record in developing re-usable and highly dynamic web applications in HTML5/Javascript
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on professional experience with Java/J2EE and building RESTful services/APIs
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on professional experience with any of: Angular JS, JQuery, React, Polymer
  • Thorough understanding of object oriented programming, data structures, design patterns
  • Strong working knowledge of messaging protocols and products (TIBCO/EMS, Solace, Software AG Nirvana, Kafka etc)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc)
  • A demonstrably high level of competency in multi-threaded solutions
  • Excellent problem solving skills / ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, especially with Corporate Bonds, CDS and Mortgage-Backed Securities
