The Appications for CCB Risk & Finance Technology (ACRFT) organization is a rapidly growing division of Corporate Technology.  We are executing on a portfolio of 30+ programs which require cross divisional management of both CT and CCB resources.  With resources from both divisions the portfolio is $150 - $200 MM of work annually. 
 
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 3 resources in managing and improving all governance processes for delivering across all programs.  Successful candidates will be comfortable and effective in facing off to both technology and business stakeholders in both the Corporate Technology and CCB organizations.
 
The ACRFT Portfolio Manager role will:
  • Be accountable for establishing and tracking the budget for the ACRFT department, including managing the complexities of funding from multiple budget roadmaps in CCB and CT and defining resolutions to obstacles.  Faceoff with business counterparts on development of business cases and with central technology budget mgmt teams in both CCB and CT.
  • Be accountable for ensuring the ACRFT program interests are represented appropriately in CCB Demand Mgmt governance and facilitating resolution of obstacles to acquiring needed resource participation.
  • Ensure department is meeting requirements related to Technology Controls in a timely manner.
  • Manage regular department governance forums established for cross-program transparency and standards.
Responsibilities for this role will also include:
  • Establishing strong partnership with CCB and CT technology and business sponsors.
  • Anticipating obstacles with critical departmental management processes and defining fixes before they become a problem.
  • Establishing and supporting tools to capture and manage department-wide program governance data.
  • Publishing regular aggregate financials reporting for programs that consolidates CCB and CT data.
  • Preparing  ad hoc internal reports on program activity, timeline and plans for Senior level and Executive Management Team
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting & metrics
  • Completing status dashboard reports and scorecard updates
  • Assisting with communications and presentation materials
  • Designing and documenting execution processes where required
A successful candidate brings the following skills to the table:
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complicated budget, financial, and delivery governance processes with multiple business and technology stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to do more than create and track to a plan, but also to handle and address unexpected or needed deviations from plan.
  • Analytical thinker with strong analysis skills, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • "Can do" attitude; "go-getter" that pursues responsibilities without constant prompting
  • Experience and aptitude with technology development roles outside of project management specialization (e.g., process design, business analysis, test scripting, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of technology and technical solutions
  • Self-starter and quick learner who can take initiative and work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with both technology and business stakeholders
  • Flexible, with ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities for self while working in an frequently changing environment
  • Assertive with strong interpersonal skills and solid written and verbal business communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), with aptitude for learning proprietary software and databases
