Job Description:

In support of the Location Leader, and the location leadership team, this individual will lead and coordinate cross line of business efforts in the local market, with a focus on strengthening hub governance, driving and enhancing a smarter working culture and workplace, building massive support for taking the location to the next level of excellence, and ensuring a best in class communication programmeconstantly shares the vision and drives awareness of expectations. In addition, this role will pursue opportunities to instill greater discipline and increased partnership across the lines of business, as it relates to our people, customer and community practices.

Responsibilities

Support the Location Leader:

  1. Manage the governance of the location, ensuring strong MD & ED support of and involvement in the governance model, while identifying opportunities to grow and drive passion for excellence

  2. Build a huge matrix network to ensure constant communication and sharing of vision

  3. Partner with local line of business leaders to identify opportunities and develop solutions to bridge gaps

  4. Partner across markets to share best practices

  5. Represent the Location Leader during designated meetings and events

  6. Manage the location’s budget for deploying the Location Leadership programmeon behalf of the location leadership team

Talent (People), Location (Site) & Community Practices:

  1. In partnership with HR, ensure the consolidation and execution of a cross line of business talent review and support for redeployment efforts, including creating a very mobile & knowledgeable workforce

  2. Coordinate logistics and content for events that promote career development and networking

  3. Working with Global Real Estate establish the location requirements for creating best in class office space and associated amenities

  4. Ensure strong Controls oversight is built into the location model

  5. Provide governance to philanthropic initiatives, as required, and partner with External Relations contacts (or local Market Leadership Team as appropriate) in support of the organisation’sefforts in the community

Communication and Events:

  1. Deploy effective channels and practices to facilitate great communication and a cohesive "one location" culture in the local market

  2. Provide support in the implementation of recruitment marketing efforts and ensure the firm's highest brand standards

  3. Work with key constituencies to plan high-profile visits

  4. Provide on-site support in implementing media relations efforts

Metrics & Reporting

  1. Develop and maintain appropriate reporting and metrics to track progress


 

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of diverse experience in financial services industry. Program or Project Management background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional partners/teams.
  • Innovative, creative and results-oriented with "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Fortitude – fierce resolve to act, driving change, fighting bureaucracy and politics, taking ownership and responsibility
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and adaptable style.  Experience interacting and communicating with Managing Directors.  Intermediate Powerpoint presentation skills.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership skills; Able to manage up, down, and across and be very direct with all levels in the organization. 
  • Relationship Management:  Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to actively drive discussions and improvements in the Delaware market.  Excellent team building skills.
  • Influence and Change Management:  Strong influence and change management skills to drive improvements across the Delaware people, site, and community pillars
  • Strategic Agility: Proven experience in seeing through tactical day to day challenges to identify broader strategic challenges and opportunities to drive larger scale improvements.  Must have strong bias for day to day execution while maintaining strategic focus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
