Job Description:
  • Lead HR Service Delivery functions, including Payroll Operations, Employee Queries, Leave of Absence Payroll, and other HR data administration
  • Ensure all payrolls are produced timely and accurately
  • Provide employees with accurate, timely, and satisfying experiences in any questions about their pay
  • Guide the LOA payroll experience, and calculation
  • Properly calculate, research and resolve all ad-hoc payroll activities and processes
  • Oversee additional procedural calculations including Tax, LOA, Overpayments, Terms, New Hire, and Employee Data Changes
  • Assure quality and performance
  • Embed compliance in procedures and output, including regulatory policies and firm wide controls
  • Identify, implement and increase efficiency and continuous process improvement
  • Reporting deliverables including: Metrics and Dashboards, Measurements and Performance, as well as establish measurement, benchmarking and executive reporting
  • Presents high quality data findings and investigates discrepancies, finding and implementing solutions
  • Technology – “Understand and effectively utilizing resources provided by internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures
  • Manages and directs overall team activities and monitors progress including accountability for effective and efficient service delivery; Budget - Manages P&L and operating expenses
  • HRSD Site leadership - employee engagement program and related people activities, lead resiliency and emergency event response and business resiliency plans (i.e., weather-related issues, security issues and health); Tracks and shares metrics with local leadership that assesses the “health” of the local site
  • Partner with HRSD Functional Leads and communicate business updates to business partners (internal/external); senior managers and team members
 
Requirements:
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced computer skills using a variety of programs (MS Office, Business Objects etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment. Ability to audit self and others for a very high level of accuracy
  • This job requires working US Shift hours (5.30 pm IST onwards)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree preferably Human Resources

• 8-10 years of progressive employment

• 2 to 4 years of Senior management experience

• experience in handling 30 - 50 staff members

• remote management

• Working experience with US Payroll / Finance / Healthcare / Insurance / Benefits Admin/Banking is desirable

• Strong systems knowledge. Experience in one or more of following systems - PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, ADP or other HR management and Payroll systems

• Proven track record of successfully setting strategic agenda, driving change, and managing complex operations

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects through cross-functional teams; problem solver with strong project management skills; able to simultaneously manage and coordinate multiple projects

• Experience in process improvement, especially towards ensuring quality, control and compliance

• Experienced in identifying and mitigating operational risk through effective controls

• Outstanding work ethic with a high degree of confidentiality

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship and consensus building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas

• Able to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment
