Job Description:
 The Senior Project Manager is responsible for executing business strategy,  performing analysis and executing tactical initiatives for MMBSI Government. This person will work in partnership with other members of the Government Management team as well as various Product Partners and other Commercial Bank strategy and planning groups.
Responsibilities include:
  • Participate in strategic planning through collaboration with Industry Managers and business management team; assist in the evaluation and advancement of long term client model strategy and analysis
  • Generate ideas and solutions, especially with respect to data quality, financial analysis, and the overall business strategy
  • Interpret financial results and understand business drivers to assist in identifying opportunities to improve results
  • Communicate financial results to management and sales teams
  • Synthesize large amounts of data, run analysis and then prepare status reports for business management and senior management
  • Utilize data/reports to analyze sales efforts and results and offer actions/solutions to improve (dashboard, scorecards, pipelines, coverage, new/lost business, etc). 
  • Utilize systems that maintain current client/prospect data such as CKC, Client Central, Exposure Now, etc
  • Prioritize and lead the analysis and execution for a constant stream of special projects
  • Assist in the coordination of initiatives which have sales force and/or client impact
  • Research and resolve data quality issues on both an ad hoc basis and on a project-wide basis. 
  • Address portfolio and scorecard inquiries from the banking team
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials to be used in various initiatives including Quarterly Business Reviews, Senior Management presentations, Sales Meetings, Town Halls
  • Represent the segment on various national project initiatives
  • Utilize CB Marketing and CB Market Research team to drive market research efforts
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree – finance or related degree required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in sales or finance organization
  • 2+ years of previous Commercial Banking experience preferred
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task while partnering with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Disciplined project management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint/Pitchpro, Outlook, Word and Database Management
  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills and consensus building skills
  • Ability to work with senior management and respond quickly; ability to partner with internal partners and leverage internal resources.
  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently and to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task effectively and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and attention to the accuracy of the ‘finished’ product
  • Independent, self-motivated and a team player
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's control agenda
