Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual with a management consultant / strategic mind-set and strong implementation skills to join our Chief Marketing Office.  Your role will be to optimize the operational performance of our global Asset Management Marketing organization through a combination of business process reengineering, organizational design and operational governance.
 
Team description
You will sit within the Chief Marketing Office which is responsible for delivering a framework and services that support AM Marketing to drive efficient, controlled and effective execution of our global strategy. The team consists of four main components: Strategic Change and Planning, Communication Control Group, Risk and Control Management and Governance. The head of the team reports to the AM Global Chief Marketing Officer.
 
Job description
To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced and accomplished professional who is solution oriented with a strong sense of ownership, initiative and conviction. Working with colleagues and partners across regions and functions will require strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills.
 
Your principal responsibilities will include:
 
  • Further develop and embed operational performance KPIs within our organization to provide a transparent and accurate view of operational health. This is critical to the success of the role
  • Identify, quantify and develop actionable plans, solutions and strategies to address issues or capitalize on opportunities to improve operational performance. These may originate from within or outside the marketing organization
  • Support the Global Marketing Management Team to optimize our organizational design through strategic change management
  • Lead strategic cross functional process design and reengineering initiatives
  • Establish a governance structure to maintain high standards within Marketing for process design, execution and documentation and a toolset / framework to empower business process owners / champions to self-improve contained processes in a controlled manner (e.g. Kaizen events)
  • Assist to establish greater operational governance across Marketing, spanning topics such as roles and responsibilities, capacity and demand management
 
 
Essential experience / knowledge / competencies
  • Notable management consulting experience preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering mid- to large-scale change initiatives
  • Strong experience in business analysis and technical process optimization and standards
  • Organized and efficient, work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Expansive thinker with a strategic mind-set and a fast learner
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy are essential
  • Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills; ability to build strong relationships and influence
  • Experience with marketing and sales platforms and processes
  • PMP, 6 Sigma, BPM certifications
     
    Desirable experience / knowledge
  • Understanding of the Asset Management industry
  • Change management experience within a large global company
