POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Finance Manager (“BFM”) will be based in Dallas, with responsibility to broadly support the regional agenda and the markets.  This role will report directly to the USPB South Regional CFO with (dotted line accountability to the Regional and Market leadership).  The BFM will provide business management oversight including financial, information, and sales management. This role involves frequent interaction with management and front office advisors in a fast-paced team environment, as well as accountability for broader regional projects. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
Strategic Planning
  • Partner with regional CFO and Market Manager(s) to develop strategic market plans
  • Develop and present strategic insights about the market
  • Align market goals and objectives to US-wide priorities and initiatives
  • Act as thought partner to Market Managers on key business decisions

Financial, Information and Sales Management:

  • Manage financial planning and forecasting processes and monitor performance against plan
  • Conduct analyses to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve results
  • Enable management by providing timely, accurate information on business performance and profitability
  • Partner with regional CFO to prepare for business reviews with senior management
  • Drive disciplined expense management
  • Research and resolve data issues
  • Work with Market Managers to assess talent, using a metrics-driven approach
  • Develop and maintain robust sales management processes for Market Manager
  • Drive ongoing enhancements and modifications to internal sales management processes
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a preferred concentration in finance or accounting
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (including Excel formulas & pivot tables, Access tables, Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, strategic thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capable of exercising forceful yet sensible leadership; willing to make tough/unpopular decisions
  • Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment
  • Client focused with a tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts
  • High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel
