A critical priority for Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs. The AWM Chief Data Office (CDO) was established in 2014 to define AWM's data strategy and support for the core data used across AWM and needed to run our business, such as client data, reference data, product data, securities and pricing data, transactions and holdings, and index data. The AWM CDO is positioned in the AWM Operations division, within AWM Center reporting to the AWM Chief Operational Officer (COO). We work with the AWM business and Firmwide CDO to analyze data, ensure data governance and data quality standards are in place, look for efficiencies in business processes, and work with our technology partners to implement solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

The AWM Chief Data Office PMO/Project Manager function will work closely with Data Executives & Program Managers to deliver on two key areas of responsibility:

PMO Functions:

·         Oversight: Understanding and tracking program deliverables, milestones, issues and risks; work with project program managers to coordinate necessary updates and produce standard MIS.

·         Reporting: Coordinating presentation materials across teams, ensuring content accuracy, validity, consistency and quality for key stakeholder forums/updates (e.g. business sponsor steering committee, firmwide chief data office updates, CAO business review, etc.)

·         Standards: Ensure adherence to defined program management guidelines and standards, with a view to streamlining and improving existing project management processes as relevant.

·         Coordinating logistics and materials for various CDO internal forums (Town Halls, Lunch & Learn Sessions, Management Offsite, etc.)

·         Develop a sharepoint library for CDO and ensure consistent usage.

Control Functions:

·         Project Management: Manage small-medium scale Controls programs (e.g. RCSA, Record Retention, Resiliency, User Tools Oversight) that require collaboration across CDO teams globally to ensure deliverables are met as per timelines set by AWM Oversight & Controls team.

Establish and maintain a tracker for upcoming Control deliverables and ensure timey resolution


  • A track record of successful project delivery.
  • A knowledge/ familiarity with operational risk controls framework (RCSA) & tool (FORCE) would be highly advantageous
  • A degree qualification and/or relevant commercial experience in a role requiring coordination responsibilities across a diverse set of stakeholders (e.g. risk management, business management, PMO).
  • Expert in MS Office Suite of applications, specifically PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively to meet deliverables.
