The Regional Payables team is responsible for electronic and paper-based payment instruments ranging from cross-border wires to domestic wires to paper instruments such as corporate cheques, managers checks and foreign currency bank drafts.  This role will focus on low value payments and paper instruments and will include overseeing and executing our payables product development, commercializing our product suite and client solutioning.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for regional product P&L and performance of payables products
  • Support country, regional and global sales to drive revenue, maintain service and competitive advantage
  • Manage the roll out of regional payment services across APAC branches and work with country partners to ensure local regulatory guidelines are met and enhancements in capabilities are in line with regional payment strategy
  • Drive process and product consistency across the APAC region
  • Work with key stakeholders across Client Service & Implementation, Technology, Operations etc to ensure end-to-end product readiness for any product launches/enhancements
  • Ensure product is compliant with evolving regulations and internal policies
  • Review current offerings against market developments and changes in payment landscape with a view to improve/innovate JPM solutions
  • Drive business prioritization on TS APAC Core Cash technical enhancements and work with stakeholders (Countries, Operations and Technology) on project execution

Qualifications 
  • Have at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in cash management, with a strong preference for experience in payment products and cash management solutions.
  • Good knowledge of payables products with a comfortable grasp of technology and operations.
  • Strong in project management with a proven track record of managing and delivering projects.
  • Experience in complex deal solving, working with sales and is comfortable meeting with clients.
  • Have the ability to transform business requirements into regional innovative solutions for clients
  • Good understanding of competitive landscapes and on-going developments.
  • Good understanding of SWIFT and local clearing systems within Asia, banking back-office systems and information reporting functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and good with numbers.
  • Energetic self-starter with ability to multi-task and interface with different stakeholders to deliver products objectives.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, a mature self-motivated team player
