Position Summary:
As a Document Processing Specialist you will work independently and identify errors as it pertains to the notary and collateral process in Wholesale Lending Services.  The specialist will summarize and provide recommendations as well as monitor and track quality performance. The specialist will adhere to JP Morgan Chase and Wholesale Lending policies and procedures. The successful specialist will exercise sound and independent judgment, have a willingness to take on projects to meet business goals and take ownership of tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting loan and compliance documentation.
  • A strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skill.
  • Understanding collateral is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and people skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to function in a joint, cooperative manner.
  • Intermediate to advance use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and SharePoint.
  • Knowledgeable in VLS, RLOTS, ACBS, Ivault, Loan IQ, ABLE and/or DealWorks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • 3-4 years of prior loan operations experience in a banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong Knowledge of Loan documentation required.
  • Willingness to be a Notary.
  • Works with a sense of urgency; seeks out and adapts to best practices; seeks constant improvement; motivated by personal and departmental goals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus; 1-3 years of professional experience in financial services or equivalent is required.
  • Previous quality control or compliance experiences a plus.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing workload to meet or exceed client expectations.
