Job Description
Key Responsibilities covered by these areas:
  • Marketing of J.P. Morgan's debt product offerings to corporate and financial institutions clients in Emerging Asia
  • Executing bond transactions in partnership with GIB/GCB partners and debt syndicate/sales teams
  • Daily responsibilities include both leading bond execution as well as marketing, e.g.  preparing bond market updates, conducting due diligence, internal/external project management, and client management through marketing and pricing dynamics
  • Establishing a high degree of trust with clients during execution, and growing rapport with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs and being responsive
  • Understanding firm's approach and policies for managing risks and applicable legal and regulatory rules
  • Proactively sharing information, knowledge and ideas to promote team success


The ideal candidate should possess the majority or all of below qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience working in the front office of a top tier Investment Bank and/or Capital Markets firm
  • Highly driven, detail-oriented, diligent with strong analytical, communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrable proficiency with market and product terms. Well versed in the quantitative nature and framework of fixed income products (e.g., pricing, liability management calculations, etc).
  • Understands the different types of credit and underwriting risks and can discuss in detail ways of risk management and mitigation 
  • Thorough understanding of market drivers and dynamics
  • Understands transaction cycle and demonstrates detail orientation during execution
  • Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures and remain focused on client needs
  • Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and in team
  • Previous experience in credit and/or financial institution capital markets a plus
  • Mandarin and English fluency essential
