Technology Controls (TC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls and IT Risk agendas with a focus on risk reduction, stability, security, delivery, resiliency and efficiencies. TC’s focus on standardization, consistency and simplicity fosters long-term productivity, quality and innovation across JPMorgan Chase. The disciplines within this organization are Oversight & Controls Technology, Cloud Controls, Identity & Access Management, IT Risk & Controls, and Third Party Risk Management.
 
Control Systems Technology (CST) provides strategic application development and production support primarily across two client portfolios: Oversight & Control and Technology Controls.  In addition, CST provides Shared Services and project support to other organizations (e.g., Legal, Corporate Operational Risk, Cyber, Risk & Finance Technology).
 
Description
The Technology Delivery Manager with report to the  Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Control Systems Technology (CST), within Technology Controls (TC).  This senior management role is responsible to provide the leadership and expertise to build and manage a cross-functional set of projects intended to drive execution transformation across select critical strategic programs.  This leader will support cross-functional project teams in performing initial assessments, evaluation of strategy, enhanced strategy development and the finalization of a recommendation and a proposed deliver plan. They will also work closely to help collaboration between CST Application Delivery team, Global Technology partners and impacted Lines of Business to drive a one team approach.
 
In addition, this role will be accountable to the organization to leverage and drive consistent operating processes, procedures, and methodologies across each component of the overall program.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Executive leadership to engage and align the various LOB programs in project sponsorship and execution.
  • Runs complex projects/programs from analysis, design, development to implementation.
  • Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
  • Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Directs and oversees project teams and manages conflicts within cross-functional groups.
  • Coordinate project assessments and evaluations as required.
  • Efficiently identifies and solves project & risk issues.
  • Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.
  • Designs and maintains technical and project documentation.

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems.  Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter.  The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, development & execution skills along with exceptional leadership as well as strong client and relationship management skills. S/he must have proven successes in balancing long term visionary planning capabilities with the ability to create practical, actionable plans that are coherent and understood by all stakeholders.

    • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
    • Financial Services background or experience
    • Previous complex cross-functional project execution experience
