This position is an Agile Team Member in Chase Mortgage Banking Servicing and Default Technology. 
 
They will be responsible for analysis, testing, automation engineering, and deployment of technology solutions that meet business and system functional requirements while adhering to best coding practices and architecture standards.  They will work closely with subject matter experts from the business, IT project managers, application developers, and User Acceptance Testers to deliver high-quality application software solutions to the Mortgage business.
 
The Agile team member’s primary responsibility will be quality assurance, story writing and product backlog prioritization, along with release and sprint planning.
The Agile Team Member is expected to have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance, application resiliency,  IT controls, and the desire to learn diverse skills.
  • 5+ years of relevant IT/quality assurance  work experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience; demonstrated experience within the quality assurance / testing arena; demonstrated skills in quality assurance methods/processes and practices.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a thorough knowledge of software development life cycle principles and quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in large, complex system implementation projects.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Abi Initio is preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Ctrl-M, Sql scripts, Excel VB Macros, Unix scripts is preferred.
  • Experience in Test Strategy, Text Plan, Test Scenario, Test Cases and Defects life cycle.
  • Ability to work under pressure to resolve issues affecting the production services.
  • Must have excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent work ethic, detail oriented,  and be able to work independently.
