As a Digital Solutions Architect you will work closely with other architects, developers, customer experience, operations support and business product leads to develop and drive the data direction for many different domains and capabilities across the Digital Platform.  Your ability to collaborate and reach consensus will be a significant and required asset. The position also requires you to identify issues in a collaborative environment and drive those issues to closure.  You will be challenged to understand the real business needs and balance the business needs with existing technical constraints and operational impacts in order to develop solutions. 
You will provide working knowledge and expertise in the discipline of Information Architecture, Data Management and Governance. This includes providing thought leadership in the definition, communication, education, and implementation of Information Strategy & Roadmaps, Foundational Data Asset Inventories, Architecture Governance, and Business Data Management.
You will contribute to the overarching goal of achieving a well defined, controlled and unified view of how information should flow and be managed across all Consumer Lines of Business. You will define and enforce consistency in design, storage, movement, security, quality, & usage of information required to support the Business.
You will need to work directly with senior business and technology leaders within the Digital organization as well as across the larger JPMC organization.  The role is multi-dimensional in the number and tenor of the professional relationships that you will need to develop across the team with these leaders.   This is also a key context of the role. Specific roles, responsibilities and skills include:
Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of data management and an ability to promote standards and best practices (data architecture, data governance, data modeling, data quality, metadata management, reference data management).
Demonstrated abilities in creating architecture artifacts including business context diagrams, data flow diagrams, conceptual, logical, security, and physical architectures.
Experienced across business, applications, technology, and information architecture disciplines for OLTP and data warehousing environment.
Experienced with at least one of the data modeling tools., ex: ErwinProject
Ability to collaborate effectively with other architects, data users, development managers and other key stakeholders to drive architectural efforts to maximize the value of information across the organization
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience interacting with CTO, CIO level executives
Possess an ability to work in challenging situations and multi-task
Information & Data Accountability and Strategy:
Understand and promoting the Information Strategy
Establishing data roadmaps / blueprints required to guide key aspects of data management for major functions
Contribute to the Enterprise data model and data governance across CCB
Proactive education on CCB Data Ecosystem guiding principles, standards, and data governance practices
Documenting end to end Data Flows including 3rd Party and control points w/ SOR
Enforcement of IT Controls – Security / PII
Voting member of Digital Architecture Governance. Including, but not limited to Architecture Review Board, Data Review Board, and User Defined Business Application Review Board
Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience in JVM/.Net/CLR based platform.
  • Worked on a performance obsessed, high customer volume, business critical application.
  • Deep experience & understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns.
  • 8+ years of experience owning HTTP, TCP/IP intensive applications.
  • Experience developing Hybrid cross platform mobile applications using Cordova and Ionic
  • Experience creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
  • Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written ) skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
