Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to lead an effective Scrum Master discipline across a global engineering organisation with multiple feature teams. This role will be responsible for driving a standard set of Scrum Master activities and responsibilities and coaching feature teams to adopt Agile practices and become highly performing.
Essential Duties:
- Guiding organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to satisfy customers
- Guiding feature teams on how to get the most out of self-organization
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of feature teams and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding teams to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Facilitating getting the work done in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

Required Skills/Experience
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience performing Scrum Master Role across multiple feature teams, ideally in an organisation who underwent an Agile transformation program
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective discussions, resolve conflict, increase transparency, and lead software development teams
  • Knowledge of numerous Agile approaches: Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Knowledge of successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Pairing, Retrospectives, Burndown/Up techniques
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Previous experience as a software engineer
  • Experience working with or understanding of Cloud technologies
