An International Product Specialist  (IPS) within the CB International Banking Group will be responsible for supporting the growth of JPMorgan's international business among corporate clients and prospects in the $100 million – $1 billion sales size. The current opening is for an IPS to support the clients of The Corporate Client Banking and Specialized Industries (CCBSI) Group. The CCBSI Group focuses on U.S. based public and private companies which require traditional banking services, are users of investment banking products, and typically have valuations greater than $750 million and significant international sales and operations.
The role of an International Product Specialist is to drive international revenue generation by partnering with Corporate Client Banking and Specialized Industries bankers, treasury management officers and other product partners.  An IPS provides in-depth and technical expertise to develop new business and expand existing global relationships in the area of treasury services, lending, trade finance and foreign exchange. 
An IPS must be a team player who is able to function effectively in a fast paced environment.  An IPS is expected to work with bankers and treasury sales to ensure that clients are offered the right international solutions.  A broad knowledge of international banking products with a strong emphasis on treasury services is essential. 
  • Consult clients on their international banking needs, with a strong emphasis on Treasury Services and working capital solutions.
  • Leverage partnerships with relationship managers and product partners to develop and deliver custom global treasury, trade, and lending solutions for corporate clients
  • Partner and influence Treasury Services and Commercial Banking teams to establish and drive business development strategies
  • Represent JPMC's International capabilities at both internal and external events in the market
  • Help with prospect conversion, leveraging JP Morgan’s international capabilities
  • Provide input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences. Though each of the following items is not a requirement, a compelling combination of the following is a must: 5+ years of successful direct sales or relationship management - focused on International Treasury Management and solutions delivery
  • Success in providing consultation on the aspects on international banking and cash management
  • Extensive knowledge of International banking products, services, and markets (Treasury, lending, trade finance and foreign exchange)
  • Executive presence and consultative sales acumen; ability to develop advisory relationships with clients, and prospects
  • Proven track record of results-oriented performance; building and influencing strategic relationships; capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Credit training preferred, with experience financing overseas operations and screening transactions with credit or other risk issues
  • Position is dedicated to the clients headquartered in the South and Southeast.
  • MBA preferred - Written and spoken English fluency
