A critical priority for Asset Wealth Management is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meet our clients' needs. The Asset Management Chief Data Office (CDO) was established to define AM's data strategy and support for the core data used across AWM and needed to run our business.
The Data Analyst will be part of the Finance & Risk data domain and will participate in critical programs that align with the Finance & Risk data strategy. The Data Analyst role will focus on data analysis of various types of data required by the Risk and Finance AWM business. Data categories can include financial, risk, collateral, and other types of core reference data. The Data Analyst will work closely with program managers, data governance leads, business subject matter experts, operations teams, and technology teams to ensure thorough documentation of requirements, issues, data flows, data lineage, and ownership of data to advance the data strategy.
The data analyst will work with AWM business partners and Firm-wide CDO to analyze data, ensure data governance and data quality standards are in place, look for efficiencies in business processes, and work with our technology partners to implement solutions. The data analyst will be part of projects and programs to develop and adopt golden sources of data across AM businesses, reengineer platform functionality and operational processes.
