Role description: The EMEA Client Assets Team (CASS) supports Operations and Product Management across the CIB and partners closely with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Audit and Risk teams.   The CASS team is responsible for the oversight and control of JP Morgan's compliance with the FCA Client Money and Client Asset (CASS) Rules. CASS regulations remain a key focus area for the firm and even more so with the roll out of the MiFID II directive and the expansion of Client Asset regulations across the European markets and the impacted JP Morgan entities (go live Jan 3rd 2018).
 
Job Description:
The role is for a Business Analyst with Project Management skills to define and oversee the implementation of technology and systematic solutions that deliver monitoring & control, reporting & MIS that meet the firms Regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations and Technology teams across the globe to understand and map processes impacting Client Asset protection and help identify areas of improvement. The output will then be used to drive technological and operational changes – defining requirements, overseeing delivery, front to back test management and stakeholder management through to and beyond delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, assess, and document business requirements for projects within the EMEA CASS Programme
  • Complete business and system process mapping and documenting of business requirements
  • Coordinating developments with Technology and ensure project deliveries remain on target
  • Co-ordinate UAT and Production testing, identifying solutions to remediate defects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business and Technology partners
  • Produce and deliver programme reporting for management, stakeholders and sponsors
  • Identify and manage resolution of risks and issues, escalating where appropriate
  • Driving forward best in class practises for business analysis within an agile environment

  • Aptitude for relationship building
  • Understanding of system development lifecycles, testing and experience of working with different Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) desirable.
     
    Experience Required
  • Attested track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
  • Operations / Technology background desirable
