The AWM Technology Training Team partners with stakeholders across Asset & Wealth Management businesses (Wealth Management, JP Morgan Securities and Asset Management) and technology. The specific focus is on training Front Office and other Business support entities on core technology tools that will enable them to analyze client data (trading, risk, implement important business strategies, growth and development plans) and support their decision making process. The team accomplishes this mission through strategic projects, research and analysis, and other business development assignments focused on growth planning, improvements in the business model, evaluation of market development opportunities, talent strategies, and other key growth and performance factors. In addition to core financial systems training, the team also promotes and educates internal Clients on mobile productivity tools and cyber security.
Description of Position
Aside from providing day-to-day support of training to a portfolio or market of internal Clients, the candidate will work closely with Asset & Wealth Management Business and Technology partners and peers to effectively design and deliver strategic and tactical technology training programs. The candidate will effectively organize and facilitate the training process with the goal of improving proficiency in internal Client core technology usage, driving adoption and contribute to provide meaningful training metrics to our key stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should aggressively and continuously suggest delivery options in order for the team to reach as broad an audience as possible and maximize our training relevance. The candidate will be part of a Global Team and, on top of training delivery, they will routinely incorporate knowledge and best-practices of other regions. The candidate will also be supporting the transformation of the Global Training Team into a predictable, metrics based and high performing team. We expect the candidate to be focused on continuous self improvement especially in areas such as financial knowledge, mobile technology, cyber security and process workflows.
Key responsibilities include
•Developing e-Learning How-To modules for end-User consumption (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio)
•Developing and delivering high quality training to our internal Client base – face to face and remotely
•Covering and supporting other markets as identified and needed
•Ensuring timely delivery of training (new hire, release related and refreshers)
•Working with business and IT partners to design workflow based training curriculums
•Providing essential feedback on internal Client perception and usage
•Suggesting new ways to improve initial (new hire) and on-going core internal Client system functionality education globally for an improved training experience
•Learning and delivering Cyber Security training to internal Clients
•Learning and delivering training on key productivity mobile apps
•Building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal Clients and colleagues
•Partnering with end-User Help Desk Support to identify new opportunities
•Must possess and demonstrate very advanced capabilities in the area of e-Learning design, development and execution
•Possess a minimum 3 years of relevant technology training experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
•Possess a passion and interest in technology
•Excel as a Team player – flexible; able to partner with others
•Be a fast learner with proven track record of academic and practical skills
•Be a Self starter with the confidence to develop original thoughts and identify business partners who can assist in work designed to drive change within the organization
•Maintain ambition to learn new training skills and gain experience in areas including learning plan designs, course curriculums, preparation and presentation of material
•Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
•Possess a high level of financial knowledge – willingness to develop further
•Maintain excellent oral communication and presentation skills
•Maintain excellent critical thinking and strategic conceptualization skills
•Have strong ability to create clear, concise documents (including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills)
•Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
