Technology Controls
Technology Controls (TC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls and IT Risk agendas with a focus on risk reduction, stability, security, delivery, resiliency and efficiencies. TC’s focus on standardization, consistency and simplicity fosters long-term productivity, quality and innovation across JPMorgan Chase. The disciplines within this organization are Oversight & Controls Technology, Cloud Controls, Identity & Access Management, IT Risk & Controls, and Third Party Risk Management.
 
Global Identity & Access Management
Global Identity and Access Management provides identity and access management solutions for the firm's infrastructure and applications. The team ensures that appropriate access controls are in place and applied effectively and continuously. 
 
The Cloud Identity & Access Management (IAM) Director will provide firm wide access management, risk identification and remediation for private and public cloud offerings. The Cloud IAM Director will be responsible for setting standards, establishing best practices and providing a firm wide governance structure. This role will partner across all lines of business to ensure that releases, amendments and new offerings are vetted and agreed against IAM standards. The candidate will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and operational staff working across the firm including TCO and Cyber communities to ensure that solutions and policies meet all risk requirements.

Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact/escalation for all Cloud IAM related topics 
  • Deliver solutions to enable developers to adopt cloud solutions in an expedited and controlled manner
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to all existing and potential cloud clients
  • Ensure adherence with Firm wide Access Management standards and Access Uplift program milestones
  • Develop and continuously mature an experienced, right sized and diverse Cloud I&AM organization, to support the large scale adoption of the cloud
  • Drive adoption of the Agile Methodology
  • Develop, participate and present updates to executive audiences
  • Promote innovation within the Cloud control environment driving control optimization, process efficiency, and improved client experience
  • Collaborate with Audit, Cyber, Architecture and Risk teams to drive transparent, measurable, and sustainable control improvements
  • Ensure escalation of potential barriers and risks to senior management
  • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum 10 years of technology management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience
  • Must have experience with Identity & Access Management
  • Strong Cloud experience with Amazon, Microsoft, IBM and/or Google
  • Technology access management, security, risk, and audit experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams
  • Proficient with multiple technologies and architectural design principles
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with team members, colleagues, and external organizations
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively multitask
