The Latam Relationship Partners team was created to provide support to Investment Banking and Global Corporate Banking Bankers, as well as Treasury Services Managers to deliver a client focused support model. The team works closely with Bankers, TSMs, Compliance, Wholesale Client Onboarding, Legal, Credit and line of business operations. The internship role will involve exposure to front office and regular interaction with the Sales teams, clients, Client Onboarding, Compliance, Control Officers and other Business Managers within the region and globally.
Role Description
  • Primary point of contact for Bankers to coordinate client onboarding and KYC renewals, including prioritization and requesting documents from clients;
  • Coordinate the due diligence process for IB/GCB/TS clients and transactions. Activities entail client outreach and process oversight;
  • Participate in IB/GCB/TS regional meetings to proactively identify bottlenecks in the Onboarding process and suggest potential improvements;
  • Work closely with the Client Onboarding and Compliance teams; understand requirements and changes in procedures
  • Students of Economics, Accounting, Business, and Engineering;
  • Fluent in English – Spanish is a plus;
  • Excel and PowerPoint knowledge;
  • Manages & prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines;
  • Strong team player;
  • Good communication and organizational skills;
  • Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner;
  • Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution.
