The objective of GT is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. Cloud Services is a new team responsible for architecting, designing and implementing a next-generation on-demand cloud platform capable of running mission-critical workloads in a resilient, secure and cost-effective manner. This position is to help start from scratch the Cloud Services team in India, to work on both private and public clouds.
 
Role/Responsibilities
  • This role will work in public cloud team who is responsible for developing secure services and platform on public cloud providers (amazon / azure) for consumption by JPMC internal systems
  • Need to work with diversified groups/teams to drive conversations constructively, establish requirements and then work to product solutions /architectures which meet the agreed requirements
  • Understand security guidelines/regulations and be able to map these to both process and end to end technical solutions
  • Automate the creation of cloud infrastructure by code/templates in a standard and scalable format.
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via developing tools and automation
  • Ability to write technical and API documentation and project reports tailored to a range of different audiences
  • Help evangelize and adopt cloud to an eco-system of developers in the technical community.
Skills
  • 10-14years of development experience having built and delivered large enterprise systems
  • Experience / working knowledge in infrastructure automation (Networks/Storage/OS) on Linux/Windows Platform
  • Expert level proficiency with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++,Go Etc
  • Experience in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipeline processes; automated build and test systems (e.g. Jenkins / Maven)
  • Experience of working with public/private/hybrid cloud is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with SOA/Micro services
  • Experience integrating systems using third-party APIs and services
  • Knowledge in container based platform, e.g., Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker etc. is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of working in globally distributed international team for a major enterprise is desirable
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - desire and expertise to build and solve complex problems in systems at scale
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent from a top-tier universities.
