Based in New York, the Trusts & Estates Business Manager associate role will primarily focus on technology initiatives for the Estates & Trust Settlements business units and expand as initiatives turn-over. Partnering with business units, other business managers, technology and operations, this role will develop business requirements; re-design operating models as needed, assist in testing and launching the new tool set. Additional day-to-day business management activities may also include business reporting and presentation and helping the individuals and business units within to be successful by assisting with day-to-day issue resolution, acting as a point of escalation, and improving processes.
Partner with US Business Management team to support day to day activities of the US Trust business, including reporting, analysis, presentations and strategic initiatives
Understand business unit processes and procedures and work on operating model changes as necessary
Represent business in projects, where appropriate
Participate in Practice-wide support coordinating with the specific business managers
Ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, management and practitioners within the business
Ability to work on strategic plans as well as tactical priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop presentations on complex and sensitive issues
Strong problem-solving, time management, organization and project management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and comfortable multi-tasking many initiatives and requests
Ability to effectively transform both quantitative and qualitative information into a compelling argument
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal accountability

At least 3 years financial services experience, preferably in trusts or estates or wealth management
Experience analyzing information and data and synthesizing into conclusions and recommendations and clear and concise presentations
Proven record of delivery of initiatives
Experience in effectively messaging priorities, initiatives and updates to senior management
Proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
