Position will be a member of Data Management Production Support team under Production Management Organization –Data Management organization is responsible for all production platforms supporting and operating the CCB Data Eco System for all CCB LOBs that includes managing the Integrated Consumer Data Warehouse (ICDW) including more than 1 PB Teradata database, more than 40K ETL jobs, BI reporting and Hadoop.
 
  • Opportunity to work in Big Data Platform such as Hadoop, Cassandra
  • Gain good exposure to latest technology on the Data Management platform
  • Manage Support mainly during US day time as mature India team will handle support during the night.
  • The position is to manage Level 2 support with on-call model and there are no Shifts  
     
Responsibilities:
  • As a Production Support Manager, you will be responsible for Incident and Problem resolution for aligned LOBs. Lead a global team of 7 to 15 resources.
  • The role also involves engaging and partnering with AD teams, and various platform owners like Teratada, ETL, BI, etc. and also interfacing with executive and Senior management.
  •  Responsible to ensure that the applications meet their required service levels
  • Perform service transition from development to support
  • Effectively perform root cause analysis of issues and report the outcome to business community and Management.
  • Develop / utilize core support tools and processes to perform work while improving day-to-day practices for support team members with the goal of delivering service improvements to the business.
  • Coordinate and work with the global production support team

    2.  Communication – Should be able to clearly communicate ideas in technical or business terms with senior business leadership, leadership outside the LOB (internal or external), their peers across IT, as well as their team. 
     
    3.  Leadership - Assess a situation, prioritize requirements, and then go out to any IT team, including both development and infrastructure, and get support as needed.  
     
    4.  Self Directed - Has a strong sense of self and purpose.   Understands tasks and role, and does not need daily reassurances, yet maintains an open dialogue with all of the stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, related field or Equivalent work experience 
  • 10+  years of professional experience in the field of information and technology.
  • 5+ years of Experience in developing and designing data warehouse applications using SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS 
  • Experience with Batch Scheduling tools such as Contol-M
  • Experience with Windows platforms and windows scripting
  • Experience in SQL  debugging skills
  • Experience in using BI tools such as Business Objects and/or Tableau
  • Experience in working in ABInitio ETL tool and Unix is a plus
  • Knowledge of open source tools and utilities
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Ability to multi-task /change focus quickly.
