Role Description
The successful candidate will manage the EMEA Product Controller team within TS.  The team is responsible for providing business advisory and accounting support, control oversight and integrity of the financial statements and transaction end-to-end control in support of the business.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Manager role will have responsibility for all aspects of EMEA TS Finance, including:
  • Ensuring a sound control environment, continuously improvement ie reviewing current controls and adding and improving on an ongoing basis
  • Finance functional lead in the region, liaise on a regular basis with cross functional leads ie Product,Sales, CS&I, Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance, BCO, Operations, Commercial Bank, to ascertain key business issues and offer SME finance advice where needed
  • Controller representation at regional TS forums/ meetings i.e. RCF, BCC, etc.
  • Manage a team of 5.
  • Interact and influence with the wider Finance team within TS Product Control, P&A, Business Managers and TS Financial Control.
  • Strong partnerships with the TS business heads.
  • Being the subject matter expert for accounting treatment of the TS product portfolio and ensuring compliance with appropriate corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Income attribution and tax transfer pricing overview of regional financials
  • Running the month-end close to ensure accuracy of the Financials, Management Reporting, & Client Profitability
  • Understanding all aspects forecast and actual P&L; quickly escalating and resolving discrepancies and provide commentary for significant revenue or expense events to senior management
  • Validating balance sheet items for appropriate classification for regulatory, corporate and legal entity reporting
  • Leading ad-hoc business and financial analysis
  • Acting as a subject matter expert supporting project/product management for various TS projects/ initiatives; Participating round table review forums for specific products/processes, carefully opining on both qualitative and quantitative factors and risks

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capacity with excellent attention to detail.
  • Degree qualification and accounting qualification preferred but not essential.
