Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI)

The MMBSI Team is a leading provider of global; cash management, liquidity and commercial card capabilities. We develop, implement and deliver a full range of solutions that help clients with, $50 Million to $500 Million in revenues.

 

The Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) Financial Sponsor Treasury Management Officer will work closely with Chase Capital to target PEGs as a means to source new clients and identify cross selling opportunities to capture a broader commercial banking wallet share of the PEG portfolio companies.

 
Chase Capital

Part of Credit Markets and Treasury Management Group within Commercial Banking.  Chase Capital focus’ on Private Equity Groups (“PEGs”) owned U.S. and Canadian-based clients and prospects of Commercial Banking, These companies have sales between $50 million and $750 million. 

 
The Role

The MMBSI TMO will identify and facilitate introductions to their portfolio companies. This role will ensure proper alignment of strategies and pricing for all Treasury Services products and solutions provided to the PEG portfolio companies. The Individual must maintain and develop relationships across; Banking leadership, Bankers, Portfolio Companies and the sponsor owners. In conjunction with Middle Market Banking and Treasury Teams, they will negotiate pricing for the portfolio companies.

 

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated executive presence, capable of navigating and building effective relationships in a complex matrix environment to meet quantitative and qualitative goals.

 

Further, the candidate must have background and success working with Financial Sponsors of parallel scale and scope.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Required
  • MBA or Masters
  • 5+ years of Treasury Sales background within a top tier bank.
  • Direct experience with Financial Sponsors of similar scale and scope
  • Strong understanding of the unique requirements of companies within various lines of business and industries
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Services products, credit process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
  • Track record and capabilities to foster strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business
  • Possesses strategic thinking skills coupled with ability to mobilize internal and external networks and resources
  • Demonstrates excellent/strong
    • consultative selling and negotiation skills
    • verbal and written communication skills
    • time management, organizational and planning skills
