The Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) is a firm-wide, global initiative that brings together the expertise of Legal, Lines of Business, Oversight & Control, Compliance, Risk and other key control functions, to proactively manage regulatory changes into our operations and allow us to trace end-to-end connections between laws, rules and regulations and policies, procedures and/or other documentation.
 
This role will focus on the OLO initiative for US Operations and GTSS. Working closely with US Operations & GTSS Program Leads, the priorities for this role include:
 
 
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on OLO process and tool related topics
  • Critically analyze procedures against obligations and drive engagement with US Operations & GTSS leads to understand impact to the business and collectively assess the sufficiency of current procedures
  • Execution of mapping of identified obligations to required supporting documentation.
  • Respond and resolve items identified by the firm-wide OLO program for US Operations and GTSS
  • Compile procedure gap analysis data for each US Operations group
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal partners and colleagues
  • Assist with additional ad-hoc projects as assigned
     

  • Prior experience in reviewing, writing or advising on policies and procedures  
  • Strong interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to successfully engage a broad range of business partners across various business segments and key support functions, to achieve goals without direct control over resources Ability to motivate and gain consensus
    among team members to determine impact and procedure sufficiency
  • Project management, analytical and communication skills are key with the ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment, and continually reprioritize to focus on the key issues / topics
  • Ability to motivate and gain consensus among team members to determine impact and procedure sufficiency
  • Excellent skills using Excel and MS PowerPoint tools efficiently
  • Ability to learn new concepts, systems, processes, and initiatives
