Job Description:
Global Security & Investigations protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management and alarm response, crisis management, corporate building security and customer/visitor/client safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, and fraud Investigations.
 
The position requires the 24/7 security management of JP Morgan Chase EMEA buildings in Paris, France. This includes the day to day management of the buildings and contract guarding teams. This requires strategic planning, direction, coordination and implementation of security procedures, incident handling, crisis management, technical systems, and personnel policies. This position is based in Paris, France.
 
Manages, directs and supports the day-to-day security operations for JPMC premises.
Functions included, but not limited to:
  • Protection of personnel/physical properties/financial assets
  • Analyze security needs, plan and direct implementation of security measures, such as security or safety systems, and estimate costs of operation balanced against calculated risk
  • Health & safety and fire & life safety
  • Crisis management
  • Training Staff and colleagues in incident and risk management, building evacuation, personal & office safety, mail room safety, general physical security awareness
  • Project management
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of technical security infrastructures
  • Guard force vendor management
  • Executive protection
  • Investigations
  • Controls and oversight
  • Law enforcement liaison
  • Coordination with Senior Management.
Qualifications
 
 Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • French & English – fluent, oral & written
  • Knowledge of physical and technical security systems including access control and CCTV. Ability to carry out site risk assessments and security evaluations
  • Knowledge of staff safety, and security operations, rules & regulations, precautions, prevention, and the protection of people, data, and property
  • Knowledge of local Health & Safety and Fire & Life Safety rules and regulations
  • Excellent PC skills, MS Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be an effective communicator, both internally and externally to JPMC
  • Ability to work well within a team and on your own
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in similar position is essential.
