Position Description
We are seeking an Associate for the CFO team of the JP Morgan US Private Bank. Based in New York, the Associate will report directly to the CFO of the US Private Bank, and will be responsible for analysis and program management required to design and execute the strategic and financial objectives of the business.
The Associate will be responsible for working with the CFO, with other team members and colleagues, and with senior leadership on financial and business performance analysis, forecasting, strategic projects, and other internal assignments that support clear and insightful understanding and management of key drivers of the business.
Functions and Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the design and implementation of strategic initiatives including financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning
  • Develop and analyze growth and restructuring strategies for the US Private Bank
  • Prepare discussion materials for senior leadership meetings
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual financial planning, management and reporting
  • 5+ years experience in finance, strategy, or wealth management roles
  • Deep knowledge of financial services and wealth management industry
  • High degree of numeracy and quantitative analytic strength, including a high level of proficiency with Excel and its thoughtful use
  • Intellect and logical reasoning skills, as demonstrated by a high level of academic and professional performance
  • Structured problem solving skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to envision and create compelling slides that support one's business arguments and communicate the "so what" of complex analysis to an executive audience
  • Strong execution and project management and the ability to establish and meet timelines and quality expectations. Ability to multi-task / manage parallel deliverables.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic

  • Good communications skills, particularly written communications and in small group conversational settings
