Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business (LOB) to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
Workspace Services delivers measurable business value by providing core desktop technology solutions that meet business demand while realizing cost efficiencies. Workspace Services works with our Line of Business partners to develop standardized, resilient operating environments and implement a global technology strategy for the firm's 260,000 end users and 125,000+ virtual access users.
Workspace service improvement team is aimed at providing improvements in terms of process efficiency and automation to all the service towers in workspace services.
Job Summary:
The individual selected for this position will be a member of the Workspace Service Improvement Team, whose main priority is to provide innovative solutions for efficient operational processes. Team-oriented approach and ability to work well with partner organizations in a large corporate environment is desirable.
The daily activities would consist of but not limited to:
  • Drive for continual improvement – identifying opportunities, developing solutions that are valid from both business and technology perspectives, and bringing those ideas to fruition.
  • Work with service owners to understand current operational issues
  • Provide ideas for improving processes
  • Recognize areas for automation
  • Identify chronic issues in the environment on the basis of data from splunk /other tools
  • Provide knowledge sharing sessions within/across teams to enhance team’s performance.
Technical Qualifications: 
  • Strong automation skills in Powershell / Python is a must.
  • Advance skills with systems like Splunk and Qlikview for creating reports and dashboards
  • 3-5 years’ experience and strong skills in supporting Server / Application / Desktop Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Citrix) and Large-Scale environments; certification is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience and proven ability to support Microsoft Windows server environment (App-V, AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policies, IIS, File, Print Service etc.); certification is preferred
  • Strong skills in various  virtualization technologies including Citrix Xen Desktop 5x, 7x, Citrix XenApp 4.5, 6.x and 7.x, Citrix Provisioning Services, Policies, Load Balancing, Store front, Cert renewals, and IMA / FMA Architecture, Vmware ESX, Microsoft App-V
  • Knowledgeable in Citrix NetScaler (Configuration and Management)
  • Working knowledge with databases like MSSQL
  • Basic understanding of SAN, Networking, and Security Technologies.
Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate should be knowledgeable of Agile/Scrum methodology for project management.
  • Should be familiar with Lean six sigma framework for continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in software development / tooling is desirable.
  • Self-directed approach that illustrates excellent work ethic, produces high quality results, and demonstrates  attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, that are appropriate for both technical and business audiences
