Morgan Chase’s Commercial Real Estate Banking (CRE) businesses include Commercial Term Lending, Real Estate Banking, and Community Development Banking.  CRE serves a diverse set of clients, from individual commercial real estate owners and investors, to large sophisticated corporate real estate clients with broad banking relationship needs, to community development organizations that invest in the development of affordable housing and economic development projects.  We provide clients the financial resources they need for projects large and small through a hands-on, local-market approach, ensuring efficiency and certainty of execution in any cycle. Position: The Business Management Associate position represents an exciting opportunity to support market intelligence and banker Client Relationship Management toolsets, and to join an exceptional and well-respected team at one of the leaders in the business.
 
This individual will report to the Business Management Vice President responsible for CRE market intelligence.    

CRE Business Management Team Responsibilities

  • Drive business strategy and growth
  • Manage business risks
  • Optimize business performance and planning

 

Role of the Business Management Associate

  • Partner with internal clients and technology to support and enhance web applications and data warehouses
  • Support banker data needs.  Provide insights on competitive landscape, portfolio, client retention and acquisition.
  • Support marketing data needs.  Provide data to execute direct marketing campaigns and analyze outcomes.
  • Manage vendor relationships.  Obtain data from existing vendors.  Perform research to identify new data sources.  Ensure data acquisition stays within budget.
  • Project management
     

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Superior strategic/break-through thinking and problem solving abilities
  • 3+ years professional experience in a commercial real estate environment
  • Advanced SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience developing SQL Server Integration Solution (SSIS) Packages or using ETL Software
  • Experience supporting full software development life cycle of requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer orientation
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional logical writing and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex ideas simply
  • Experience managing and leading work teams
  • Strong project management abilities, including the ability to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree (MIS, Business, Finance or Marketing desired)
