CIB F&BM – Client Profitability Project Mgr. Associate, Mumbai, India
The CIB F&BM Global Program Management team is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of large scale initiatives. Wholesale Client Profitability is a unique initiative within CIB which cuts across various line of business within CIB with the aim of providing a Firmwide profitability view of the wholesale clients of JP Morgan.
The candidate will be engaged in management and execution of the overall project portfolio and each individual project liaising with various stakeholders from CIB Finance, technology and Corporate. Client Profitability program involves many high visibility projects which require the candidate to able to step up and interact with senior stakeholders when required.
The candidate should have exceptional communication (oral and written) and solid project management skills. Candidate should have executed projects end to end and demonstrated solid judgment and leadership skills, as well as ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a complex environment. Any previous analysis background would be ideal as few projects require the candidate to wear a business analyst hat. Background in Finance would be preferred.
Project Management Responsibilities: 
  • Manage individual projects in the Client Profitability portfolio end-to-end by partnering with various stakeholders across Finance and technology
  • Compile and write business requirements by interacting with finance team
  • Manage UAT end-to-end; this includes defining test strategy, managing testers and general test management
  • Develop program/projects scope, goals, project plans, and milestones
  • Manage project timelines and track and execute against required deliverables
  • Resolve conflicts and successfully manage project/task dependencies
  • Identify and effectively solution for risks, issues and control gaps
  • Facilitate meetings with Senior Managers and key stakeholders to communicate updates, directional changes and key risks/issues while influencing outcomes and driving resolution
  • Build proactive partnerships with business and functional partners
Required Experience:
  • 4+ years of previous Project Execution/ Business Analysis experience with any financial institution
  • Strong project management and governance skills with the proven ability to execute influence and drive business results
  • Proven experience driving end-to-end project/change management. Experience with various project delivery methodologies would be preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Should be proficient in Excel, MS power point and MS Word

  • Strong leadership skills, ability to influence outcomes and drive resolution.
  • Ability to quickly understand a complex matrix of product/reporting systems across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to compare complex alternatives and select a solution. 
  • Ability to apply creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated situations.
