Position Overview
 
The Role:
Chase Digital is seeking talented candidates for a position as a Digital Business Associate in our Digital Products Group. We are focused on identifying opportunities for our business to disrupt or be disrupted and working with the Chase businesses to develop solutions to address these opportunities.
 
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital channels. In addition to being a well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall understanding of digital landscape including trends, emerging players, and disruptive business models that have the potential to disrupt / complement / enhance Chase’s existing businesses
    • Work with internal and external subject matter experts
    • Be expert on trends, landscape, company profiles and business models
    • Participate in industry forums as required
  • Work with team to develop roadmap and project artifact creation:
    • Partner across all disciplines to ensure roadmap is aligned with ongoing efforts if required
    • Engage with relevant product teams, technology teams, digital teams, legal, risk and compliance teams, etc. to build comprehensive yet practical roadmaps
    • Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations to address
    • Develop financial model and other project artifacts
    • Maintain ongoing communication to gain buy-in and ensure alignment
    • Develop necessary materials and presentations for senior management as part of recommendation process
    • Be part of execution team to implement
  • Work with direct and virtual team
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on a mix of analysis, experience and judgment
  • Uses sound methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Possesses excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator with all levels of management and partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools required
  • Self-motivator and ability to mentor and manage other team members
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree is desirable
