Job Description:
  • Our processes and systems associated with the production and consumption of finance data are managed across a number of areas, in a variety of ways. This has led to inconsistencies and inefficiencies that we must address as part of our broader Finance Information Reporting program.  
  • One of the top priorities across Global Finance is to evolve the company to a more integrated finance data and reporting strategy – one that is globally consistent and usable for business, finance, risk and regulatory requirements.  Partnering with Risk, CAO and Technology, this strategy fits into the broader multi-year Finance & Risk Roadmap.
  • The Business Architecture team is responsible for partnering with Risk & Finance business and technology teams to drive the vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap and to execute on strategic initiatives across the organization, including the Finance and Risk Consumption Strategy.
Finance Business Architecture Team :
As a member of the Business Architecture Program team, you will partner with the Risk and Finance Technology team and the various Program Management teams to drive the Finance vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap to fruition.  Specific focus will be on the development of operating model, business processes and technical infrastructure in support of risk & finance, responsibilities include but not limited to:
    • Ensure data within FRI is fit for consumption by firmwide stakeholders for all products in scope to produce Regulatory Reports
    • Perform data reconciliations to both General Ledger (GL) as well as production Regulatory Report Filings
    • Raise data defects and work with upstream Technology teams to remediate
    • Produce metrics to provide regular updates to Senior Management
    • Experience with understanding and testing large quantities of data across multiple products
    • Regulatory / MIS / CCAR experience a plus
    • Ability to effectively manage relationships across global, diverse Finance, Risk, Technology and Operations senior manager and relevant “SME” populations
    • 5-7 years Finance experience
    • Project/program management - proven ability to frame projects, establish required governance, and work across all constituencies in the business and Technology to successfully implement programs/projects.
    • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
    • Excellent written and verbal executive-level communication skills
  • Technical
    • Overall strong desktop skills including excel and powerpoint
    • ALM, Tableau, JIRA experience preferred but not required
  • Soft Skills
    • Proven ability to work across diverse groups, build consensus and execute the agreed plans
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently
    • Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and able to work with tight deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment
