Global Supplier Services Operations is a centralized operational group within GSS that manages Procurement operations, Corporate Accounts Payable operations, Travel & Entertainment claim processing, Accounting operations & Indirect Tax Operations.
 
As VP & senior manager of the team the associate will be responsible for the team’s service delivery, quality and timeliness of customer interactions & adherence to the defined control framework. The manager will also be responsible in ensuring a healthy environment for the team to work in, managing the employee lifecycle & employee welfare. The incumbent will also play a key role in driving the organizations strategic imperatives.
 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Managing multiple teams which within GSS Operations Global Supplier Services Operations is a centralized operational group within GSS that manages Procurement operations, Corporate Accounts Payable operations, Travel & Entertainment claim processing, Accounting operations & Indirect Tax Operations.
  • Partner with the relevant line of business stakeholders in resolving any issues, end users are experiencing with processing of corporate card applications or processing of expense claims.
  • Support the accounting services & payment teams to ensure all transactions are paid and accounted for appropriately.
  • Participate in working groups supporting strategic platform changes & process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for employee engagement, satisfaction & welfare through the employee life cycle.
  • Partner with operations groups globally to ensure consistency of process delivery, customer experience & control environment.
  • Help drive strategic initiatives / programs locally within the Warsaw operations centre as well as globally across diverse stakeholder customer groups.
  • Ensure adequate involvement and participation in control self-assessments to identify process deficiencies and build remediation measures to mitigate risk.
Knowledge and Skills
 
  • Prior experience of managing processes independently
  • Prior experience in managing teams of 30-50 people
  • Good attention to detail & problem solving skills
  • Ability to interact with both JPMC employees and card issuance companies.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Good MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) – Sharepoint knowledge
  • Strong  oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to lead change
     
Qualifications
  • Prior working knowledge of Corporate Accounts Payable or Procurement operations
  • Degree or significant previous equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and a good team player
  • Exposure to project management & process improvement techniques
