About Financial Information Reporting Solutions & Internal Reporting:
 
The Global Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) was established to define and deliver target end state operating model and technology requirements to strategically source data required for both internal and external reporting, and assist in positioning the firm to better respond to changing regulatory environments and internal demand requests.  As part of FIRS, the Internal Reporting Solutions team is focused on providing environmental readiness (fit-for-use), data quality and enrichment, and enhanced reporting and analysis across critical corporate internal reporting platforms.
 
Role Description:
 
The Internal Reporting Vice President will provide guidance and leadership to the FIRS Internal Reporting Global support function based in Warsaw, Poland to ensure progress on the Internal Reporting book of work. The Vice President will establish and maintain effective working partnerships with stakeholders across Global Finance and synchronize efforts with the Internal Reporting management team to ensure consistent target state delivery on key initiatives. The successful candidate will be hands-on with key deliverables, provide day-to-day direction to the local team, manage team performance and career planning, and help drive the delivery of the Internal Reporting agenda.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Process Management: Driving and monitoring process performance, building efficiency and incremental value, resource and performance management, content learning and development within the process. Maintain effective and standard operational processes, critical process documentation and drive iterative review control mechanisms. Meet Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators as agreed with global partners.
  • Operationally Controlled Environment: Improving and maintaining a controlled environment. This includes ensuring control activities within a business process are implemented and performed, appropriate control tools are in place, and team understands risks and related controls. Adherence and support to Compliance and Regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analyses: Review (and as needed perform) reconciliations across multiple financial reporting applications and user query management. Drive report analysis and research efforts through issue management and client query efforts.
  • Partnerships: Build and maintain key relationships and partnerships across multiple business finance, operations, and technology partners globally.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and lead process improvements on a continual basis.
Education:
  • CA/CPA/CFA/MBA Finance/Accounting/Management Information Systems from a premier institute with minimum 10 plus  years of experience,
  • Graduate in Commerce/Finance with minimum 12 plus years of relevant experience
 
Experience:
  • Candidate must have global team managerial experience for approx. 5 plus years
  • Experience in accounting and financial analysis will be an advantage
  • Technical proficiencies (Essbase, query, SQL, databases, UNIX, Oracle) are an advantage.

  • Highly strategic thinker with analytical mindset capable of developing and executing plans that prioritize and address stakeholder needs through delivery and drive executive leadership’s engagement through management communications
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with tight timelines while keeping key senior stakeholders and technology and operations partners appropriately updated
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Highly developed influence and negotiation skills
  • Very strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to lead a diverse team of financial, project and business analysis professionals
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite.
